You can get this old issue for free (pay postage only from schattenmanns.wordpress.com). I am very surprised their website is still active. They stop the print magazine for couple of years and back with online presence.

This magazine comes with free CD. There's very long info on the bands featured in the CD.

2 or 3 columns per page for interviews and 4 columns for reviews (with very small font size) using background image or just plain black background/white text.

Some error on the table of content.

Reviews are alphabetically arranged. Demo reviews just after few pages of this magazine are not rated but album reviews are rated.

In issue #6 they mention about releasing 3 issues a year. That didn't happen, I guess. Now they focus more on extreme metal & horror movie. The easiest thing to notice when reading back-to-back 2 issues is the tremendous improvement on the layout. Well-done!

The editor apologizes for the lack of nudity in this issue. Is the editor suggesting the previous issue have more nudity than this issue? Well, I didn't pay much attention actually or even count the pages with nude chicks hah! As for this issue I only remember one in Necrophagia interview but that taken from some horror movie. Anyway, here you have some nudity from front covers of Japan horror DVD and on "Morbid Visions" section.

The pages are numbered and have table of content. The layout 2 column per page with small font size (the size I like).

About the interview, there is a very long chat with Deceased.

About the reviews, there are different section: demo & 7" in one section (not rated but alphabetically arranged), "Morbid Visions" (horror/gore movie reviews), "Full Metal Onslaught" (4 pages, rated, some with bands logo).

They also feature some articles on Jim Van Bebber's films, Eastern Evil (horror, sleaze, and gore movie by Jap. Shock) and a gig report; "Messengers of The Underground" (Wacken 2002).

Last but not least are comics by Tales From Uranus (2 pages) as well as Jake's (the artist for Tales From Uranus) artwork here and there.

Another zine I bought from Grundar Production mailorder. "Malaysian Brutal & Sickest Fanzine" is the tagline for this zine. The staples are badly rusted. I had to remove it to avoid being injured and get infection. That will be brutal if it happens.

Layout 2 or 3 columns per page. Different types of fonts used. Quite good computer layout for a 2002 zine. The pages are numbered, have table of content and the xerox quality is not bad.

Beside interviews there are "Earblast Review" which in alphabetically arranged and not rated but split to several sections:

Earbleeds (last minute review)

The editor command of English language is good. The news section is called "Mega-Blast News" but this is for international news. For local South East Asia news is in "Total Corpse News" and of course, not to forget another section called "Last Minute news" ;-)

The Editor of this zine is Dir which a member in Mortuary Ancestor, a death metal band from East Malaysia. He is known here as Magoth. Not sure though how many issues being released after this.

I found this in Ledo Takas mail-order (www.ledotakas.com). So I bought a few old zine. They still sold some of old zine and fortunately some of them are the one I wanted to get when it was out back then but lack of money (still studying at the time).

Ad Arma! is the work of Northwind and Tadas along with some contributors.

Ad Arma! is pro-printed in glossy paper with white text on black background. Small text size, I have to emphasize this in 3 columns but everything is just nice for me for the layout.

Strange number chosen for rating the review:

Album review: rated 1 to 13 (small text, 5 columns per page, all together 27 page! That's a lot to read!)

*"Vinylized" review: rated 0-13

*"Demonstratus" review: rated I to VI (alphabetically arranged and lots of demo here)

Do I need to explain what Vinylized & Demonstratus about? You can guess and most of you will get it right. There are some kind of 'introduction' on these section.

Address of the labels provided. Literature review however is not rated.

Beside this, there are gig report on Wacken 2001 and Inferno Fest 2002.

I bought few issues of this mag together some metal zine from Northern Heritage Records (http://www.cfprod.com/nh/). I'm very curious about this zine especially when a metal distro selling them. Originally this magazine was released in Finnish and now made available in English. I never had any experience reading other publication in this topic so I can't compare.

This not a porn mag and not intended to be your masturbation material (look at those crazy pictures!!). If I read it right, no specific topic were chosen for this magazine. The mag was created to satisfy editor personal taste. So what is the topic that the editor like? I think you can get the picture after I write down the content.

Only few interviews in this issue. One with Alexia, an actress and into shit and piss sex while Nalle was the editor of Chain S/M fanzine and owner of Kinky Club. Interviews are interesting and so does the reviews. Probably because I have little no knowledge of the topics discussed so I am able to read them all without getting bored.

The book reviews are quite detailed but not rated. They commented on every chapter in the book. What I found useable for me the review include the size of the book. Instead of A4, A5, etc they put the dimension like 20cm x 15cm which I can use this style for my review. Honestly some zine size is not using the common size even though I put A5 or A4. Sometime they are a bit smaller/bigger than what I said. On the video reviews they also put the genre of movie (how many genres are in porn?). Beside this, they also review magazine and special section like "Bukkake Mania", "Skylex Video Journal video series", "Vintage Perversion Mag. Classic & Super-8 Loop Classic" and my fave "Extreme Bizarre Japan" (perverse Japanese porn video).

Also featured here are sex stories, picture of people engaging in bondage, S&M, pierced testicles and drawings. Apologies! I have to censored some of pictures here.
